LG G Flex coming to Sprint in the U.S. for $299.99 on January 31

LG G Flex

Sprint has become the first carrier in the U.S. to announce that the LG G Flex will be available on its network starting January 31. The device will be available online for pre-order starting today and has been priced at $299.99 on contract. Sprint will even throw in a free QuickWindow Folio Case (worth $59.99).

The G Flex features a 6 inch 720p curved flexible display, 32GB of internal storage, a 13 megapixel rear camera, LTE connectivity (compatible with Sprint Spark), a curved 3500 mAh battery and a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM. The handset will launch running , but is expected to be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat soon.

At $299.99, the LG G Flex sits next to Sprint’s most expensive smartphones, including the Apple iPhone 5S and Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3. AT&T and T-Mobile are also expected to launch the LG G Flex in the US this quarter. We’re assuming that their models will also be expensive.
