The Android 4.4.2 software update is now being pushed out to Nexus devices as an over-the-air (OTA) update. It looks like the update is being pushed to all Nexus devices, including the Nexus 7 2012. The update which ranges in size: from 39.3MB all the way up to 54.0MB, comes less than a week after Android 4.4.1 started rolling out to the Nexus lineup.
While it is not clear what the Android 4.4.2 update has to offer, it is assumed that it fixes some of the general issues found on Android 4.4.1. So in case you are stuck on Android 4.4 KitKat, you will likely have your device skip the 4.4.1 update altogether in favor of 4.4.2
If you have received the Android 4.4.2 update on your Nexus device, leave us a comment below and let us know which of your devices received the update.
