Motorola Moto X for T-Mobile receives Android 4.4 KitKat

A couple of days ago we saw the Android 4.4 KitKat update start its roll out to the Motorola Moto X. It was a little surprising to see KitKat rollout to the Moto X ahead of Google Nexus lineup, but it looks like it pays to be a Google company. After Verizon became the first US carrier to offer the KitKat update, Motorola has announced that the update is rolling out to the Moto X on T-Mobile

We have already seen a leaked version of KitKat for T-Mobile's Moto X, which was a clear indication that Motorola wouldn't take long to have the update ready. Among the improvements, Android 4.4 brings an improved dialer, powerful photo editing tools, emojis for the keyboard, a new hangouts app with SMS integration, and other improvements and enhancements.

Android 4.4 KitKat - Here's All You Need to Know
Its been over a month since Android 4.4 was officially announced, but Google has just announced what we can expect from the next version of Android alongside their unveiling of the Google Nexus 5. Here's all you need to know

While Motorola has not mentioned any specific updates for its T-Mobile variant of the Moto X, it is assumed that the device will get the same camera improvements found offered to the Verizon model.

The update will be pushed OTA, and you should receive a notification when it is available for your device. If you have not received the notification you can check under settings, but keep in mind that such notifications generally take a few days to reach all devices on the network.
