HTC One max vs LG G2 - Video Comparison

HTC One maxLG G2

The HTC One max and LG G2 both run on Android, but that’s pretty much where the similarities end - these are two vastly different phones. The One max offers the bigger, 5.9 inch display and while that might seem like a clear advantage, the device is so large and not comfortable to handle and carry.  While the LG G2 display is far from  being small at 5.2 inches,  it is surprisingly compact and easy to operate.

The One max does come with several advantages, like its sturdy aluminum design and outstanding loud and clear front speakers. While it is a decent performer, we are somewhat surprised that HTC chose to include a Snapdragon 600 processor with their flagship phablet, in a market dominated by powerful Snapdragon 800 chips, like the one found on the G2.

The LG G2 also has its set of advantages aside from its powerful processor, like its top of its class battery life and its 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization. However its plastic design and software experience didn't feel quite premium in our experience.

The HTC One max is priced at $249 on Sprint and expected to cost $299 on Verizon (with a contract), compared to the LG G2 which is priced between $50 to $150 on major carriers. Even if you plan to purchase the One max off contract, you will be spending a huge $700 compared to the $530 it will cost you to get an unlocked LG G2.
