Google has been focussing hard on bringing a great photography experience to their users on Google+, and they made that even clearer during today's 'A Morning with Google+' event with +Vic Gundotra. Along with several enhancements to the way Google+ handles our photos, the company also announced an updated version of Snapseed, a mobile photo-editing app that it purchased a while back.While the update has still to be released, you will be able to download it when it is live through the following links:

An updated version of Snapseed will be made available today to Android and iOS users, which will bring impressive HDR scape features. According to Google, our mobile cameras only approximate HDR by using pixel color as the basis to process three separate images and combine them into a single image. But, this new HDR Scape feature uses an advanced pixel-edge contrast method in order to create amazing HDR photos from a single image.
As you can see from the samples, HDR Scape in Snapseed can dramatically change the look of an image, and the app will give you slider controls to increase or decrease the intensity of the effects. Keep in mind though that the enhancements may not work for every photo and work best with landscapes and structural objects.
