The DROID lineup on Verizon is headed by the Motorola DROID Ultra which is a premium device in every aspect. However the manufacturer also introduced the Motorola Moto X on the same carrier at the same on-contract price with very similar features and performance making our choice harder. If you prefer the slightly larger display and the Kevlar finish, the DROID Ultra is the way to go. But the Motorola does feel easier to handle and will feature the Moto Maker phone customization later this year on Verizon.
Its important to remember that the hardware and software experience on both devices are almost identical and your choice should only be influenced by your personal preference of which device feels better in your hands.
