If you live in the U.S. and a customer of a regional carrier, you will be happy to know that the Apple iPhone 5s and the Apple iPhone 5c are headed your way on October 1st. Customers on carriers like Appalachian Wireless, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellcom, CSpire, GCI, MTA, Nex-Tech Wireless, Ntelos and Strata will soon be able to enjoy Apple's newest iPhones.
One carrier missing from the list is U.S. Cellular, which decided back in May that it should reconsider its previous position and start offering the iPhone on its network. While CEO Mary Dillon stated that the iPhone was too expensive to carry because of its subsidies, she hopes the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c will help bring back some of the postpaid customers the carrier lost over the past 18 months.
Now a total of 25 carriers in the U.S. offer the Apple iPhone, leaving the iPhone's past exclusivity on AT&T a distant memory. Are you planning on getting one of the new iPhones on your regional carrier? Leave us a comment and let us know who your carrier is and which iPhone you are choosing.
