The
Lenovo Vibe X was not the only device that Lenovo had on display at the IFA 2013. Lenovo also introduced a budget friendly
Lenovo S5000 tablet. The device features a 7 inch touch display with a 1280 by 800 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel rear camera, a 1.6 megapixel secondary camera for video calls, a 3450mAh battery and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Media Tek 8389 processor with 1GB of RAM.
The S5000 which runs
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean measures a mere 7.9 mm thick and weighs just 236 grams. This makes it quite a bit thinner and lighter than the Nexus 7 which clocks in at 10.45mm and 340g.
The S5000 will be made available in Q4 2013 for €199 ($262). Unfortunately there is no news on plans to bring this tablet to the U.S.
