The Lenovo IdeaPad 2 Pro is the successor to last year's Lenovo IdeaPad and includes the same flexible hinge which allows the device to be bent 360 degrees and transformed to a tablet. Lenovo has made their new tablet thinner than its predecessor, but its most impressive feat is its 3200 by 1800 pixel resolution on its 13.3 inch display which directly rivals that of the Samsung ATIV Q.
Lenovo has included some impressive specs on the IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro, which include up to 512 GB SSD, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, one USB 3.0 port, one 2.0 port and a 4th generation Intel Haswell chipset with up to 8GB of RAM.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro weighs in at 3 pounds and is 15 mm thin, making its conveniently portable full Windows 8 tablet. Lenovo has also included a backlit keyboard this time around, allowing you to conveniently use your physical keyboard in a low lit room.
Lenovo promises that the IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro will offer up to nine hours of battery life, which is an impressive feat for a full Windows tablet with such a high resolution. The battery life could be attributed to its Haswell processor which was built with battery life consumption in mind.
All this power doesn't come cheap as the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro will cost you $1099 for the basic model when it arrives during the upcoming holiday quarter.
