Grand Theft Auto: iFruit for iOS facing issues, Rockstar working on a fix

Grand Theft Auto V has been warmly welcomed by the gaming community and early estimates see the game earning $800 million in its first 24 hours in the market. Rockstar additionally released Grand Theft Auto V: The Manual and Grand Theft Auto: iFruit as companion apps for the iOS platform with the aim of enhanced experience for their users, but the iFruit app has been facing issues connecting with Rockstar Games, Social Club service.

The GTA V characters, Franklin, Michael and Trevor carrier mobile devices, representing Android, iOS and Windows Phone respectively. Their cameras can be used in game to capture photos within the game, but it looks like there have been issues with the photos being saved to the users Social Club accounts.

Currently with the iFruit companion app only available for iOS, the Social Club connectivity issues have also been faced by iPhone users. Rockstar has promised to bring the iFruit app to the Android and Windows Phone platforms in the near future.

Rockstar has acknowledged the issues, and has already implemented some fixes for the problems, but it is still working on a full fix for the iFruit login errors that users have been experiencing. No word on when to expect those fixes so you can get back to your second screen experience.
