Facebook for Windows Phone has been updated to version 5.0.2 and brings a new interface which makes it more like its iOS and Android counterparts. This is the same interface which has been in beta until now. Unfortunately by offering a unified interface, the Facebook for Windows Phone app no has the Modern UI which Windows Phone users love.
You can download the update directly on your device through the Windows Phone Store or by using the link which follow:
Microsoft looks to have been very busy updating their apps today. We saw Skype for Android receive a new user interface. We also saw OneNote for iOS and OneNote for Android updated with a new interface. Both updates bring a unified interface across Windows, Android and iOS.
Just like on iOS and Android, you have navigation on the light side and your chat-list on the right; and the three tom help monitor your notifications. The update adds support for the Timeline which is welcome, but the fact that the app doesn't look like other Metro apps will definitely make it stand out. You do however have the ability to show your pictures and notifications on your lockscreen.
Keep in mind that while the link is compatible with Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7, the new interface is only available for Windows Phone 8 users.
