The HTC 8XT which is technically the successor the successor to the HTC 8X seems to adapt the look of the more affordable HTC 8S. The handset will feature a 4.3 inch touch display with a 480 by 800 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary 1.6 megapixel camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
The handset brings the company's BoomSound (dual front-facing stereo speakers) technology and is expected to cost $99 on a two-year contract with a $50 mail in rebate.
Meanwhile the Samsung ATIV S Neo is a high-end Windows Phone handset which features a 4.8 inch touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera, a secondary 1.9 megapixel camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The ATIV S Neo will cost $149.99 with a similar 2 year contract.
