After many rumors and speculations, Google has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S IV with stock Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. This device will not run the TouchWiz UI and instead will feature the latest versions of stock Android which will be offered directly from Google.

The Galaxy S IV with stock Android will be sold directly through the Google Play Store and will have its bootloader unlocked. You can 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD and you will have 4G LTE connectivity on your handset. We unfortunately aren't certain if it will feature the quad-core or Octa core processor

The device will run on GSM networks in the U.S. like AT&T and T-Mobile and will cost you $649.

So if you have been waiting for one of the top Android handsets with the freedom of quick updates the Samsung Galaxy S IV with stock Android maybe the device for you.

[UPDATE] Just wanted to add this update due to the misleading nature of the image I have added for the Galaxy IV with stock Android. The device will apparently not feature on-screen buttons as they are depicted in the image.
