T-Mobile releases carrier update for unlocked iPhone 5 models enabling LTE and visual voicemail


T-Mobile is now releasing a carrier update for the Apple iPhone 5 allows a host of new important features. One of the main focuses of the update is to enable LTE on unlocked iPhones 5 units which are being used on the new T-Mobile 4G LTE network.

This update would enable LTE on factory unlocked iPhone 5 units or AT&T unlocked devices. Meanwhile iPhone 5 unites with LTE already enabled will be sold through T-Mobile on or after April 12th.

The update is available for the iPhone 5 (OTA) over-the-air or by connecting your handset to your computer through iTunes.
