Snapdragon BatteryGuru is an Android app by Qualcomm which helps improve your battery life on devices powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors. The app is currently in beta stage and is designed to help manage the connection that various apps have with the Internet. Keep in mind that running the app will disrupt some apps like GMail which depend on the internet connection to receive push notifications. If you find that you are having trouble with your apps, you can override the default settings on the BatteryGuru app. However this wont keep the app from being blocked again in the future.
Still there will be many users out there who would prefer having an extended battery life on their handsets over using resource hungry apps and the Snapdragon BatteryGuru promises to offer a solid solution.
