Owners of the Motorola Droid RAZR are receiving an early gift in the form of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update. This means you can enjoy the smooth performance of project butter along with Google Now which will help you keep track of your weather, traffic conditions, sports updates along with other special updates. It will also bring the other security enhancements you will expect from Jelly Bean.
You will receive a notification when the update is available for your device and you can even manually check for the update by heading over to Settings > About phone > System Updates and check for updates. The update which offers Android 4.1.2 is around 331 MB in size, so make sure you are connected to your Wi-Fi before you start updating your device to avoid data charges.
Unfortunately there is no news on the enhancements provided by Verizon and Motorola as no change-log has been released. If you come across any changes you notice, please leave us a comment below.
