Those who followed the conference last year would know that Google hands on some cool items to attendees, and the lucky few who made it last year were handed a Google Nexus 7, a Chromebox by Samsung, a Google Galaxy Nexus and a Google Nexus Q. Items which would generally total to around $ 1,100 making the ticket costs amazing value for the money spent.
Google also introduced Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, TV shows and movies in Google Play, the Nexus 7 and the Nexus Q social streaming media player during last year’s event in June. The event also included a special skydiving demonstration with Google Glass.
This year the Google I/O is expected to be held one week before the CTIA show in Las Vegas and we can expect the official Google I/O app to be released soon, to help users navigate through the event schedule. We don’t quite no what to expect during the event, but we may get our first glimpse at Android 5.0 and some new Nexus devices. Be sure to stay connected to us on Facebook or Twitter for updates.
