AT&T has decided to have a launch of their own following the launch of the Apple iPad mini and have officially unveiled two high end smartphones on their network - the Sony Xperia TL and the LG Optimus G. The Optimus G is purchased for $199.99 while the Xperia TL will cost you $99.99 with both requiring a two-year commitment.
The Xperia TL is the latest smartphone from Sony featuring a 4.5 inch touch screen, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary HD camera for video calls and powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The device will run Ice Cream Sandwhich at launch will Jelly Bean down the line, but its biggest appeal is that it is featured in the latest James Bond movie – Sky Fall.
Meanwhile the Optimus G from LG features a 4.7 inch display, 16GB of onboard storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. It is a powerhouse in terms of hardware specifications and will make a great choice for many.
