Now its time for that inevitable face-off between the Nokia Lumia 920 and the Nokia 808 PureView. How will the PureView Phase 2 on the Lumia 920 with Windows Phone 8 fair against PureView Phase 1 on the 808 PureView which runs Symbian? The following photo comparisons put the devices against each other in a collection of tests to try and answer that question.
The 808 PureView relies on pixel oversampling with its enormous 41MP sensor, while the Lumia 920 implements Optical image stabilization with its 8MP sensor which reduces shakiness when capturing photos and enhances low light photography. The 808 PureView implements a Xenon flash while the Lumia 920 uses a new type of LED flash by Nokia. Both cameras feature Carl Ziess optics.
