[Android app] Amazon Cloud Drive Photos allows you to send the pictures on your Android device to the cloud


The Amazon Cloud Drive Photos is already available for the Amazon Kindle Fire HD, and they have now made the app available to other Android devices. The app offers 5GB of free storage for your photos and you can upgrade it to 20GB of additional space for just $10 a year.

Once you have installed the app on your device you can upload your photos to your Cloud Drive by long pressing the photo of your choice and selecting “Upload to Cloud Drive”. Once the uploading is complete you can access your photos any compatible web browser or Android device. You can even share your photos through your favorite social networks like Facebook, Twitter or Google+ or distribute them over email. You can also view your uploaded photos in a horizontal mosaic or vertical grid. The photos will be optimized to the screen size of the device you are viewing them on.

Unfortunately the Amazon Cloud Drive Photos app does not offer the ability to automatically upload your photos, like you can with Dropbox or Sugersync, but the service is easy to use.
