iExpander for iPhone offers improved battery life, microSD support and a better flash

All eyes maybe on the Apple iPhone 5, but the Apple iPhone 4S and the Apple iPhone 4 have also recently been discounted. So anyone interested in the older iPhones may want to take a look at this accessory – the iExpander.

The iExpander comes equipped with a battery similar to the one insider your iPhone 4S and doubles your battery life, allowing you to get through a day of extensive use.

Additionally the iExpander features a microSD slot, which supports up to 64GB of microSD storage.

Last but not least the iExpander has an additional LED flash which automatically flashes alongside your camera flash allowing much better low-light photos and videos.

The iExpander is 6.3mm thick and would add that noticeable bulk to your device. However considering the improved battery, flash and microSD support, it may be worth the extra bulk.

The iExpander is a Kickstarter project and anyone interested can back up the project and receiving their iExpander before the end of the year. The final product unlike the prototype is expected to be made of graphite and reinforced nylon, which is both strong and flexible.
