Lenovo is building a Windows RT tablet for $300 and a Windows 8 tablet for $600

One of the biggest things we are looking forward to in the coming months is the release of Windows 8 and along with it Microsoft's Windows RT which will run on ARM processors.

Lenovo is one of the manufactures in the front line with their own ARM based solution a full Windows 8 tablet in the works.

David Schmoock, Lenovo’s Chief of North American operations has stated that the company will release the less powerful, but lighter and more portable ARM variants for $300 and $400 while the powerful variants with Intel processors on board will be priced at $600 and $700.

The ARM variants will compete directly with the Apple iPad and Android tablets and their price tag looks extremely competitive. The full Windows 8 tablets on the other hand will have the power of your everyday laptops and give you the freedom to run all your favorite Windows apps and games.
