Asus Transformer Pad TF300 receives Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean software update
If its one thing Asus has proven to be great at, it’s their Android tablets. Last month the company announced that they will be bringing Android Jelly Bean to some of their tablets.
The Asus Transformer Pad 300 looks to be first in line as it is now receiving the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update which brings Android 4.1.1 along with other features and improvements.
Along with updating the Android operating system which brings performance and security improvements along with some new features, the update also offers a new power saving feature, global file search and brings improvements to the pre-installed apps.
The update will be offered OTA (Over the Air) and you can check for the update manually by heading over to Settings > System Firmware Update > Check Update.
If you own one of the other Asus tablets, stay tuned as the company has promised that we can expect Jelly Bean in the near future.
