The HTC One S users in Germany and Netherlands are now receiving the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update on their devices, along with HTC Sense UI 4.1. HTC has also improved their camera app with the update along with bringing some bug fixes and performance improvements. The update is also included the EA Gamebox gaming hub and a remote control diagnostics tool for HTC.
The One S features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, 8 megapixel camera capable of capturing 1080p HD video and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor. The device was released with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and the HTC Sense 4.0 UI.
Now that the update has been released for the European variant, it wouldn’t be too long before the U.S. version of the HTC One S gets treated to the update.
Last month HTC confirmed that the HTC One X, HTC On XL and the HTC One S will be receiving the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update. So we can be assured that this is not the last update this device will see. However it doesn't look like the HTC One V will be updated past Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
