HTC Dream receives Android 4.1 Jelly Bean through CyanogenMod 10

The HTC Dream (a.k.a. T-Mobile G1) is known for being the first Android device in the market. While the device remained on Android 1.6 Donut it has received a lot of attention from the developer community who have continued to port the latest version of Android to the device.

The HTC Dream has now gotten the opportunity to savor Android 4.1 Jelly Bean through a pre-release version of CyanogenMod 10.

While its 528MHz processor and outdated hardware may not be best suited to run the latest version of Android smoothly, but it is nice to see the iconic device get a taste of Jelly Bean.

The ROM is still at a very early stage and needs polishing before it can be fully usable. For now its best to leave it to Android enthusiast to play around with the device,
