The Nokia Lumia 710 was launched in the U.S through T-Mobile at $49.99 with a two-year contract. The price was later lowered to $39.99 which followed the Free pricing on the device with a two-year price tag.
However its not just the post paid customers who can enjoy the luxury of the first Nokia Windows Phone in the U.S.. T-Mobile has even extended the offer to their pre-paid customers.
The Lumia 710 was selling as low as $200 at a no-contract price for some time. Unfortunately this amazing price didn't last for too long and the Lumia 710 is now priced at $349.99 . However this is still a very good deal for the device which features a 3.7 inch ClearBlack WVGA touch display, 5MP camera capable of 720p HD video and is powered by a 1.4 GHz processor. Especially considering that similarly specs smartphones can cost as much as $500.
The decision will come down to the customer who can choose between the subsidized price in favor of the freedom which comes without the binding contract.
