iOS 6 revealed in server logs

Apple has barely released iOS 5 and it looks like iOS 6 is already making it's rounds in Apple's Cupertino campus. This was revealed in a recent server log from ARS Technica has revealed an iOS device with a display resolution of 2048 x 1536 running iOS 6 having made 346 visits to their server.

The high resolution is similar to the expected retina display on the Apple iPad 3 which is expected to be presented to the world on March 7. However Apple is still in the midst of working on iOS 5.1 so the possibility of seeing iOS 6 until the next iPhone is very unlikely. This doesn't mean that iOS 6 is not under development and this reveals that Apple has already begun working on the next version of their mobile software.

It is still too early to speculate on the features of iOS 6. Apple is reported to have been working on the iPhone 5 for some time now and we can only hope that the next generation iPhone will have some innovative software to complement the innovative design we expect to see from Apple.
