HTC officially unveiled their MWC lineup of Android smartphones at a special event which was held today. The devices unveiled are the HTC One X, HTC One XL, HTC One S and the HTC One V.
Lets take a closer look at each of these devices.
The HTC One X is the most powerful Android device to date from the company with a 4.7-inch Super LCD 2 display which has a 720p HD resolution. The display is tapered on the edges and has Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The One X has a unibody polycarbonate design and has a 9.23mm thin frame which is quite impressive when you consider the hardware it has on board.
The One X has an 8 megapixel camera which features a dual-shutter which supports taking photos while you are capturing 1080p HD video at the same time. The camera has a 22mm wide angle lens, f/2/0 aperture and a BSI sensor. Face and smile detection along with burst shooting are supported.
The One X is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor and has 1GB of RAM giving you a premium Android Ice Cream Sandwich experience.
The One X has 32GB of onboard storage, which users will have to be satisfied with as there is no microSD expansion. However an additional 25GB of free dropbox space is available for two years to make up for that. It's internal features are topped off with the Beats Audio enhancement which gives the device an added edge.
The HTC One XL is the LTE variant of the HTC One X. While the One XL shares most of the internal features of the One X is it powered by a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor instead of a Tegra 3 chip.
The HTC One S is the slimmer sibling of the One X and is the thinnest smartphone from HTC to date. The device has a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display and an 8 megapixel camera with a f/2.0 lens and LED flash for low light photography.
The One S also features Beats Audio onboard giving it's users premium audio quality and it is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor which contributes to it's mid range status.
The One S has an aluminium unibody design with a 7.6 inch thin frame. The Aluminium body has been processed to give it a crytaline ceramic meta finish which make the device immune to scratches, giving it an added level of protection.
Last but not least is the HTC One V, which is classed as an entry level handset. The device features a 3.7 inch WVGA LCD display and a 5 megapixel camera which is capable of capturing 720p HD video.
The One V doesnt have a front facing camera and it's storage is limited by the 4GB it has onboard.
The One V is powered by a 1GHz single core Snapdragon S2 processor and has 512MB of RAM. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but has HTC Sense 3.6 instead of Sense 4.0 which runs on all it's siblings.
