HTC Flyer receives Android Honeycomb software update

The HTC Flyer is the company's first tablet which was announced in February and released in May running Android 2.2 Froyo. The device features a 7 inch touch display, up to 32GB of storage, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM.

HTC has now announced that the device will be getting Android Honeycomb 3.2
The update has started rolling out today and will be made available OTA at a size of 210MB. Please ensure you have a Wi-Fi connection so you don't spend your data connection on the update file.

Users in France and Netherlands have reported that they are currently receiving the update. The update will be shipping out to Flyer owners in the next couple of days (or weeks) so keep your eyes open for it.

If you have already received the update please let us know in the comments section below.
