Nokia Lumia 800 will receive two updates coming to fix power issues


The first Windows Phone from Nokia - The Nokia Lumia 800 has been facing battery issues, Nokia has reportedly pinpointed the cause of the issues and have a fix on the way.

The update will be made up of two parts, with the first part due for release in two weeks. It will improve the power efficiency and optimize the performance of the handset.

The second part of the update is due in January and will enhance the battery capacity to it's full 1450mAh. The device battery has been currently limited to 1300mAh

While you cant expect handsets to be perfect on release it is important that Nokia work quickly to resolve these issues so that users are confident in using the handsets. Nokia's partnership with Microsoft gives both companies a chance to boost themselves into a market dominated by Apple and Google and happy customers are a key to seeing this happen.
