Google Chrome Zone

Google has opened Chrome Zone's in London according to a TechRadar. These zones have been built with the purpose of educating the public on the advantages of using ChromeBooks and the Chrome OS. The Chrome Zones are built within larger stores like Currys and PC World on Torrenham Court Road, London and are operational as of today.

The Chrome Zones currently only have the Samsung Series 5 Chromebooks on display, with Google employees explaining the advantages of cloud computing to those who visit them. The Acer AC700 Chromebook is unavailable as it still hasn't been launched in the U.K.

The Chrome Zones have a Chrome feel about them being decorated in the Red, Blue, Yellow and Green colors from Google.

ChromeBooks were launched back in June following their announcement during the Google I/O conference. They run Google's Chrome OS which relies greatly on Google's online services and the cloud.

While cloud computing cannot replace the standard PC, it is a good option for someone who is always on the move and wants to stay connection to the web.
