Apple iTunes 10.5 Beta 09 released

Apple has released the iTunes 10.5 Beta 09 to developers enrolled in Apple's developer program. The Gold Master (GM) release is expected next Tuesday alongside the GM release of iOS 5 in preparation for the Apple event on the 4th of October.

This release follows iTunes 10.5 Beta 08 which included enhanced support for the iTunes Match service and was released three weeks ago. This version of iTunes is rumored to be the last version from Apple before the GM release given that there are no major issues in this update. The GM release will be the last release to developers before iTunes 10.5 is made available to the public alongside the release of iOS 5.

If you are a developer you can download the latest iTunes beta by heading over here. A developer program which costs $99 a year is required to download beta versions of Apple software.

Please note that that iTunes 10.5 Beta 09 requires iOS devices running iOS 5 Beta 07. Please make sure you have updated your device before syncing with this version of iTunes.
