How to browse Android Market from your computer

As part of the announcements made today at the Google Android press event, probably the biggest was the announcement of Google's Android Market being accessible from your computer's browser.

This allows Android users to browse and download apps from anywhere instead of just on their Android Phones. This puts the Android Marketplace a step ahead of Apple's AppStore in terms of features.

You can simply browse the Android Market at http://market.android.com pick or purchase the app you wish to have on your device and within seconds the application will start downloading on your Android device. You can also share the link of an application on the Market with your friends via twitter or email.

In App payments is another feature that will be available in the latest SDK which will be available sometime by the end of March. This will allow developers to add premium content from within a single app.
