RIM has been hard at work the last few months preparing the release of BlackBerry OS 7 and the new BlackBerry smartphones and it looks like they are not ready to stop now. They have released a beta version of App World 3.0.The new version of App World features a completely redesigned home screen, with a search system which allows us to sort apps by name, price, rating, newest, best match and popular. There is also a spotlight banner which shows the latest and most popular apps. The five icons at the bottom are referred to as 'top level channels'. You can use My Account from this list of icons to get quick access to your personal information like you BBID and payment options.
Information on an App has been consolidated into a single screen swiping to the left or right shows you the summary, screenshots and reviews for that app.
