The Nokia N9 which is powered by Meego is finally coming close to release and Nokia has actually started a countdown to show it. As the countdown suggests the device will be released on 23 September. The N9 will features a 3.9 inch display, 8MP camera and a full 'swipe' interface which allows users to fully interact with their device using swipes and gestures.The countdown currently stands at around 49 days for the release for the device which will only be sold in select regions in favor of the Nokia smart-phones running Windows Phone which will be marketed in regions like the U.S. and U.K. where Nokia wants a strong mobile platform to take on iOS and Android.
The N9 has been quite popular even before it's release as it sparked a fun competition which found a worldwide audience competing to solve codes to win themselves one of these elusive devices.
