Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini receives Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update

Last month we reported that the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro was receiving the Android ICS update and now the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini is getting its taste of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The update however will not be offered OTA (Over the Air). Users will have to head over to Sony’s website and see if their device SI (Sales Item) number matches that of the list of devices which are now receiving the update.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini - Unboxing Video

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini is a smartphone which is part of the company's Xperia lineup of devices and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It has a 3 inch touch display, a 5 megapixel camera capable of capturing video at 720p HD and features tight Facebook integration.

Sony Ericsson releases Xperia Facebook phones

Two new devices have joined Sony Ericsson's Xperia lineup of devies, namely the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini and Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro. Both devices run Google's Android mobile operating system and have 3-inch displays with Sony's mobile BRAVIA engine. The Xperia Mini Pro features a full slide out QWERTY keyboard and is aimed at a business audience.
