Sony announces Xperia SP and Xperia L
Today Sony announced two new members to its Xperia Family, the Sony Xperia SP and the Sony Xperia L. Both handsets which will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will be available in black, white and red and are expected to go on sale in the second quarter of 2013.

Sony schedules press event for March 18th
Sony Mobile has scheduled a press event for March 18 at its Russian branch, where it is expected to release two handsets – the mid range Sony Xperia SP (C530X) HuaShan and the entry level Sony Xperia L (C210X) Toashan. Both handsets are expected to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The Sony Xperia SP (C530X) HuaShan will feature a 4.6 inch 720p touch display, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel Exmor RS camera, a 2100 mAh battery and powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM. The Xperia SP is expected to cost EUR 300 ($390) contract free.
