BlackBerry OS 10.2 update starts global rollout; to reach the U.S. later

BlackBerry announced on Wednesday that they will start their worldwide rollout of the BlackBerry 10.2 OS update. Europe, Canada, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific region were listed as the initial destinations of the OS update. The update will be rolled out to the BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Q10 and the BlackBerry Q5. The BlackBerry Z30 comes out of the box with 10.2 pre-installed.

BlackBerry Q5 - Video Review

We recently shared a first impressions review of the BlackBerry Q5 and now its time to take a closer look at this handset with a video review. With its classic BlackBerry keyboard coupled with a 3.1 inch touch display, the Q5 is clearly aimed at a specific demographic.

With a somewhat less that comprehensive app ecosystem and a display size which isn't ideal for modern day web browsing, gaming or video watching, the Q5 will solely rely on a BlackBerry fan base who haven't moved on from the propitiatory BBM messaging service.

BlackBerry Q5 - First Impressions

The BlackBerry Q5 is the second BlackBerry 10 device offered with a physical keyboard. Much like the BlackBerry Q10 the Q5 features the classic BlackBerry keyboard coupled with a  touch screen for added functionality. The Q5 additionally features 8GB of internal storage with can be expanded through microSD, a 2180mAh battery and is powered by the 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM.
