Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the
LG Optimus 3D is set to start rolling out to devices on November 21. The unlocked versions of the handsets will be the first to receive the update, and the carrier versions should receive it before the end of the year.
The update will bring many new features to the device along with the standard security, stability and UI improvements which come with Gingerbread.
Editing footage on the Optimus 3D will now be possible as LG will include a 3D video editor, A video stabilization feature will be available in both 3D and 2D modes, the Gallery app performance will receive a boost, mp3 playback time has been extended and 21Mbps HSPA+ connectivity speeds will allow the device to access the web faster than before.
