Upload to SkyDrive (beta) arrives for Nokia 5800, 5530, 5230, 5233

Recently the option to ‘Upload to SkyDrive’ was released for Nokia Belle devices as a software update. Now the ‘Upload to SkyDrive’ beta app has been released for the Nokia 5800, Nokia 5530, Nokia 5230 and the Nokia 5233 through the Nokia BetaLabs. The app will allow users to copy photos and contacts from the device to Microsoft Live cloud service SkyDrive, where they can be easily accessed with mobile or desktop devices.

Nokia 5230 receives (51.0.002) software update

The Nokia 5230 has received a firmware update which takes the software onboard from version 50.0.001 to 51.0.002. The only change which has been offered with the update is an updated web browser which is now at version 7.3.1.33 with an improved interface and a faster browsing experience.

Nokia 5230 receives (21.8.005) software update

The Nokia 5230 Firmware has been updated to version 21.8.005. You can update your firmware using Nokia's Ovi Suite or Software Updater. If you don't see the update please be patient as it may take some time for Nokia to role it out to reach all regions.

The Nokia 5230 has User Data Preservation (UDP) which will keep your data safe during the update, however it is advised that you backup your data before performing the update.
