As you may know Apple has an event scheduled to take place on October 16, where the company is expected to unveil a new generation of iPads. The event will be streamed live to anyone with an Apple device (OS X 10.6.8, iOS 6, or 2nd gen Apple TV software 6.2 or newer)

While Apple has not officially revealed what the event is for, its likely going to debut the next generation iPad Air alongside a new iPad mini. These new iPads are expected to feature Touch ID fingerprint sensors, NFC chips for mobile payments and Retina HD resolutions if the rumors are to be believed.
Apple may also use the event to release Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite along with a new generation of Mac hardware. With the livestream just hours away, we wont have long to find out.
