Vine updated for iOS and Android with new interface and loop count

Vine

Twitter's Vine app allows you to record and share brief 6-second videos, dubbed "vines". Now  and  have been updated to version 2.1.0 which brings several new features and improvements, including a slightly redesigned interface and a real-time loop counter which lets you know how many times your vine has been looped.

You can download the update directly on your iOS or Android device through its respective app stores or by using the following link

Unfortunately the Vine for Windows Phone has still to receive this new feature, and there is no timeline for this feature arriving on Microsoft's mobile platform.

Apart from counting each and every 6-second loop, Vine now comes with a slightly redesigned and, better organized interface. The vines now stretch from edge to edge, making full use of your display's real estate. You will also notice that if you are an avid Vine user that browses the app on a regular basis, then you'd probably find the slightly bigger icons that allow you to like, comment, or share a vine a tad more convenient to hit while on the move. Additionally, the app will notify you if any of your own vines surpasses a certain milestone.
