Sony Xperia Z2

The Sony Xperia Z2 is receiving a new software update which brings improved call quality to the device along with other performance improvements. Among the improvements is the "Improved charging while battery is low" which likely allows your battery to charge faster. This will be a useful feature for those who want to hurriedly charge their device before heading out.

Sony also claims that this update brings improved touch functions, performance, and bug fixes. Some users already claim that the Tap to wake function is working much better and that performance in general is more responsive. The latest firmware brings the 17.1.2.A.0.314 software version and will be pushed out to devices in various stages. If you dont want to wait for the automatic update, you can download it directly from Sony and install it on your phone via the USB cable and the official PC Companion program.
