The beta version of OneNote for Android was recently offered to those who wanted to test unreleased features ahead of the public. Now Microsoft has released the first update to the beta version which brings several new features and improvements to the note taking app.
Firstly users will now gain the ability to take handwritten notes with either their fingertips or a stylus. This is a useful feature of note-taking on touchscreen devices and we are glad to see it arrive sooner rather than later. Additionally the update also brings a number of formatting options letting users tweak fonts, text size, and word alignment. The app is also easier to navigate now that people are free to switch between notebooks and pages just by swiping.
