Some useful CyanogenMod apps are now available for any Android

CyanogenModCyanogenMod is clearly one of the more popular custom ROMS for Android. It offers stellar performance and has a large base of users and developers behind it. Unfortunately not all Android users will be willing to root their devices or install custom ROMs to get access to these features. Luckily, CM apps has arrived on Google Play allows you to install and try out several CyanogenMod apps without having to flash the ROM

You can download CM Apps directly on your device through the Google Play Store or by using the following link:

CM apps is not developed by Cyanogen, the company behind CyanogenMod, but it allows you to download and install some of its signature apps on any Android device. CM Apps comes with Apollo, a music player, the cLock home and lockscreen widget, the DSP Manager audio-enhancing tool, the customizable Trebuchet launcher, and several others. What's more, you can download and install the camera app from CyanogenMod 11S, which is identical to the one featured in the OnePlus One

However it is important to keep in mind that these apps may not work as expected on your device without having the necessary framework provided by installing the custom ROM. Still it will give you the opportunity to try out some of these apps before committing to install the custom ROM.
