[BlackBerry app] Connect to Microsoft OneDrive



Microsoft SkyDriveMicrosoft OneDrive (formally SkyDrive) is now available for the BlackBerry 10 platform. Microsoft OneDrive is a cloud storage service which offers 7GB of free storage. You can arrange to have pictures and videos saved automatically. or share important files and documents.

Open BlackBerry World on your device. Do one of the following:
  1. On a device running BlackBerry Device software 7.1 or older, press the Menu key. Click Scan a Barcode.
  2. On a BlackBerry 10 device, swipe down from the top of the screen. Click Scan a Barcode.

BlackBerry App World will instantly find the app you've selected.

OneDrive for BlackBerry also allows you to edit documents, or comment on them while on the go, an important feature for the business user. And lastly, you can "seamlessly and easily" work with online files on your BlackBerry 10 handset.


If the 7GB of free storage is not enough, you can get 500MB of free storage for every friend you refer, with a maximum of 5GB allowed. You can also set your device to automatically send photos and videos to OneDrive and you'll receive an additional 3GB of free cloud based storage.
