The
Asus VivoTab Note 8 was
first announced at CES 2014, featuring a portable form factor and a Wacom digitizer stylus. This Windows 8.1 tablet was aimed at students and professionals with the inclusion of Microsoft Office Home and Student edition. Asus stated that the device will be priced at $299 at launch, but it is now available on the Microsoft Store for $329 with free shipping.
The 8 inch display on the device has a 1280 by 800 pixel resolution which works out to a rather low 189ppi pixel density. You get 32GB of onboard storage with a microSD slot for expansion, a 5MP rear camera with a secondary front camera and a quad-core Intel Atom Z3740 processor with 2GB of RAM.
