LG G2 for AT&T receives system update to 'support future updates'
The LG G2 on AT&T is now receiving a 15.4MB system update which brings the D80010o software version and the M8974A-AAAANAZM-1.0. 190034 broadband version. This update is said to support future firmware updates to your device. It is a compulsory update for your device, and it will be automatically installed to your phone, even though you can delay it a few times.
Today's update is said to provide FOTA enhancements to support future updates, and also includes Google enhancements. It doesn't look like the update has much to offer in the form of changes, as your device will retain the Android 4.2.2 software version. However, this update could be readying things for the eventual Android 4.4 KitKat update, so we recommend installing this.
