Untethered jailbreak available for iOS 7

An untethered jailbreak for iOS 7 has now been made available from evad3rs. The solution is a hack called evasi0n7 which will work on any Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, Apple iPad mini and Apple iPod touch running  through iOS 7.0.4. This is good news for those with jailbroken iDevices that have been unable to update to iOS 7 for fear of losing their jailbreak.

The evasi0n7 hack is available for Windows and Mac OS X. However Cydia creator Jay Freeman (saurik) warns that he has yet to be able to prepare his Substrate code for the hack. He also tweeted that the version of Cydia that comes with evasi0n7 is not official and suggests that those interested in jailbreaking their iOS 7 device be patient while he checks things out.

If you're interested in opening up your iOS powered device to a whole new world, check out the tutorial below. Please be aware that you could end up bricking your expensive Apple device if you don't know what you're doing. Also, you will void your warranty if you attempt to jailbreak your device.
