Motorola has announced that they will begin seeding Android 4.4 KitKat over-the-air (OTA) to their Sprint customers. This means the last of the Moto X models have now been treated to the latest Android desert. Interestingly, even though the U.S. Cellular model of the Moto X reportedly started getting the Android 4.4 update just over one week ago, Motorola is also including that in today's announcement.
Motorola has been working extremely quickly with their KitKat updates. It pushed out the first update to Verizon models before Google had even begun the rollout to Nexus 4 handsets. Since then, it has released the KitKat updates for the AT&T, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular models of the device. In addition to the new dialer, UI tweaks, and general KitKat goodies, Motorola has also added camera improvements to allow users to swipe for focus and exposure.
